Darko tour dates

Bio

Darko is an urgent frenzy if hi-octane melodic hard-core punk. The five-piece from the South of England expertly blend complex, emotive post-hardcore with more quintessential skate-punk influences, to create songs that’ll inspire you whilst they stick in your head.

Darko’s 2022 Sparkle EP heralds a new era for the band. They have welcomed a new vocalist, Tom West (Almeida) who brings clarity of both voice and vision to the band, instantly proving popular with fans. Soaring choruses test West’s impressive vocal range whilst naturally complementing the intricate entanglement of clean and overdriven guitars that is Darko’s signature.

In over 10 years of touring, Darko has developed a loyal following worldwide. They’ve played in over 37 countries, including tours of Japan, Australia and Canada. They’re a popular choice on the European festival circuit, having played at Punk Rock Holiday (SL, main stage), Music 4 Cancer (CA), Jera on Air (NL), EXIT Fest (RS), KNRD Fest (DE, headliner), Brakrock (BE) and Mighty Sounds (CZ) to name a few.

In 2022, Darko toured Canada, Italy, Austria and Slovenia with skate-punk legends and label mates Belvedere, as well as drawing a great crowd to the main stage of Manchester Punk Fest.

They’ve previously toured with A Wilhelm Scream, Belvedere and Chaser, and supported bands like Strung Out, Ignite, Frank Turner, Propagandhi and H2O. Channelling the technical skill of Protest The Hero, the colossal choruses of Rise Against, and the political edge of Propagandhi, Darko is reimagining melodic hardcore.

Sparkle is a dynamic fusion of vibrant and intricate guitars, a heart-racing, versa-tile rhythm section, and bold lyrics delivered with urgency and conviction. Ultimately, it’s the sheer fun of Darko’s on-stage performances that bring these songs to life.
